Dr. Shawn Pallotti, DC

Dr. Shawn Pallotti, DC

Dr. Shawn Pallotti, DC, serves as our Chiropractic Doctor. He is a former U. S. Marine. He graduated from Sherman Chiropractic College in 2000.  After graduating, Dr. Pallotti went on to build the well-known Total Health Retreat. This retreat is known for excellence in education, support and application of natural health.  He has held positions at the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Therapy in Spartanburg, South Carolina teaching anatomy and physiology at the Total Health Center in Shelby, N.C., which was the model for five retreats across the country.


Dr. Pallotti  has completed extensive post graduate studies at the world famous Activator Methods seminars in Georgia and Virginia.  He is also certified in the most advanced chiropractic technology available known as Pro Adjuster.  Additionally, he is certified in Active Release Techniques (ART), Graston, Thompson  Drop, physiotherapy,  and Neuromuscular Therapy(trigger point therapy).   As a family chiropractor, Dr. Pallotti has done extensive research, consulting, and instruction on the effects of diet and lifestyle factors on disease and athletic performance.


Dr. Pallotti was featured in the television series, Healing for Life and in the book, The Hallelujah Diet. He has also been a keynote speaker across the country and has published more than a hundred articles throughout his career.

Dr. Candice Owens, DC

Dr. Candice Owens, DC

Dr. Candice Owens is an Alabama native, who was raised in a military family. She graduated Valedictorian of her high school class in 2002. Dr. Owens went on to attend Florida A & M University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology. After undergraduate studies, she received her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University.

 

Dr. Owens utilizes various techniques and trigger point therapy to improve patients overall health by taking a functional approach. She believes educating patients is the key to achieve optimum results. As an adjunct instructor in the Nursing Department, Dr. Owens taught various courses such as Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition, Microbiology & Pathophysiology.

Alyssa Vianese

Rehab Manager

Meet Alyssa, our Rehab Manager! An enthusiastic Zumba instructor, personal trainer and aspiring nutritionist, Alyssa prides herself in providing quality care to every individual she works with.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Alyssa first came to the area to study at St. Mary's College of Maryland. During her time on campus, she was the Director of HawkTHON, a philanthropy that raises funds and awareness for Children's National in Washington, DC. It was through this experience that she discovered a passion for working with others, especially in the healthcare field.

 

She graduated in 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in Neuroscience. She plans to further advance her career in the field of health and wellness by earning her master of Science in Nutrition Education.

Chris Gummer

Rehab Technician

Chris graduated from King George High School in 2011, and attended Bluefield College as a collegiate soccer player for the next 4 years. He spent 1 year as an intern for their Strength & Conditioning programs. Chris graduated in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science with a focus in Exercise Sports Science.

 

After college, Chris got his NASM-CPT certification, as well as becoming Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and worked for gyms in the surrounding Fredericksburg Area.

Now Chris uses his knowledge and experience to help people learn more about their bodies and how to move correctly.

Ashley Johnson

Rehab Technician

Ashley is one of our Rehab Technicians who relocated to Virginia from Texas.

Ashley played volleyball throughout high school and went on to play collegiate volleyball for 4 years. After going through rehab for a few injuries, she chose to study Athletic Training at East Texas Baptist University. 

Soon after, she became CPT certified through ISSA while grabbing a RockTape PMT certification and started working as a personal trainer in 2014. Ashley's experience ranges from coaching a league volleyball team in San Diego, CA, to one on one personal training, small group fitness training and co-coaching large bootcamps at her home CrossFit gym in East Texas.

She enjoys putting her knowledge and experience to use by teaching people how to prepare the body for real-life movements and activities in a safe and correct way.

Bonnie Fisher

Office Manager

Bonnie has been working with Dr. Pallotti for over 13 years. 

 

She came to the practice after working as a Case Manager at another facility. She has also worked as a Special Education teacher for approximately 12 years, as her sons completed their education. She has been a coach for Volleyball, Basketball and Track. 

 

She enjoys watching sports, especially the Pittsburg Steelers. If you have any questions or concerns while or after you are a patient she is the one to speak too. 

Beth Bowling

Treatment Coordinator

Marketing Director

Beth serves as Treatment Coordinator and Case Manager for all new and existing Regenerative Medicine patients.

 

She is the go to person for Stem Cell Therapy, so if you would like to know more, or would like to attend a Free Educational Seminar on Regenerative Medicine, she will be happy to answer your questions.

She graduated in 2010 with a Masters in Business Administration. 

Her 20 years of business and marketing experience makes her a huge asset to our team.

Angela Stafford

Case Manager

Whether you are coming in for Chiropractic Care, Medical Cannabis Certifications or other modalities we offer, she will be there assisting you through the process from start to finish.  

Angela is a longtime resident of King George, mother of two amazing boys and is currently working on her degree in Psychology.

Sarah Otto

Community Marketer & Receptionist

Sarah Otto is the Community Marketer, along with a familiar face at the front desk, at Advanced Integrative Medicine.   She loves to help the community learn about the resources offered to them within the Advanced Integrative Medicine, along with offering Pamper Events and Lunch & Learns for local businesses.

 

Sarah and her husband are natives of Jefferson City, Missouri but made King George, Virginia home in 2011.  Her husband, Jay, retired from the US Navy in 2018 after over 21 years Active Duty.  They have 3 (adult) children and 2 furbabies.

Sarah is also the 2017 and 2018 NSF Dahlgren Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouse of the Year and has spent over 2 decades advocating for Military Spouses.
